Who we are. FeedPilot is a publishing assistant for shops and creators, run by Masoud Pourhasan, a sole proprietor in Sweden ("we"). Contact: hello@feedpilot.me.
Two kinds of people, two roles. For the people who sign up and run a brand in FeedPilot ("owners"), we decide how their data is used: we are the controller. For the people who comment on a brand's posts or send it a message ("the brand's audience"), the brand is the controller, and we process their data only on the brand's behalf and on its instructions (see "Processing on your behalf" in the Terms).
What we process, and why.
What we do not do. We do not collect follower lists or data about people who have not interacted with your brand. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or build profiles of anyone.
Website visits. The public pages of feedpilot.me count page views to learn which pages help. They set no cookie and store no address: each visit becomes a code made with a secret that is deleted at the end of the day, after which the count cannot be linked to anyone. Signing in to the web app at feedpilot.me/web sets one cookie that keeps you signed in; nothing works without it, and it is used for nothing else.
Services that process data for us. Each receives only what its task needs:
Where data leaves the EU, it does so under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as each provider offers, or because sending your post to a platform you connected is the service you asked for.
How long we keep it. Instagram credentials: until you disconnect the account or remove your brand. Your audience's comments and messages, and the answers sent to them: 30 days after they were answered or skipped (one not yet handled stays until you handle it), and a conversation 30 days after its last message; all of it is deleted at once when you disconnect that account. Everything else about a brand: while the brand is active, and deleted when you remove the brand or ask us to delete it. The daily secret behind the website counts: one day.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@feedpilot.me; we answer within one month. If you commented on or messaged a brand, you can ask that brand, or us, and we will help it answer. You can also complain to the Swedish data protection authority, IMY (imy.se).
Security. Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Access tokens are kept on our server only and are never shown in the bot or on the web. Only the operator can reach the server.
Changes. When this policy changes in a way that matters, we say so in the bot before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
